Immediate Dentures

If you need to have teeth extracted and do not wish to go toothless we may recommend immediate Dentures. This involves taking impressions of your mouth while your natural teeth are still present, and can replace some or all of the teeth to be removed.

We then fabricate a Denture in the likeness of your natural teeth, or make any necessary modifications you may wish. When your natural teeth are extracted, your immediate Denture is then inserted. This type of Denture will assist in the initial healing phase, restore the shape of the lips and cheeks, and maintain a proper bite position to avoid a collapsed appearance due to the lack of real teeth.

These surgical Dentures will have to be modified and adjusted several times throughout the healing process due to the significant changes that will occur in your mouth. You may require a more functional solution once your gums are ready. We will help guide you in the best direction for your specific needs.
